Last weekend, I worked at part-time jobs. They are not so hard but I always have to stand up in one of my work. Even I spent a lot of time for working, I could have a good time on Saturday and Sunday. The biggest thing I have done for my happier life is to clean up my room. Last week was many thing, for example listening to explanation about internship and driving school, that would be useful for my future, so I could not clean my room. This week, I try to keep my room clean!

Henry and Mudge satdown under the tree. Hemry put his arms around Mudge. They were glad for a magic tree. They closed their eyes. And a boy and a dog slept, together, on the green hill in their green time. This book is comprised of three short stories each name is 'The Picnic', 'The Bath', 'The Green Time'. All of them are story about the friendship between a boy and the boy's dog. The quotation I showed at first is in the last story of the book. Two characters act as if they are King and his dragon. From this scene, I found their bonds and thought I came across the heartwarming book. If you want to read something heartwarming book, please read this book. The animals were happy. They jumped up and down in the beautiful water. Beans looked into Rango's eyes. 'Thank you,' she said. 'You are our hero!'  (p.25)  In this story, there are a lot of characters with animals for their motif. The hero is Rango who is a green chameleon. When he come to the town of dirt to find water, there didn't have water. This was because out of the water pipe came mud. However, a lot of Rango's thought and act, Rango could find a big water pipe which was closed by the Mayer. The Mayer wanted to have not the town of Dirt but a new city on the land. Rango went back to the town of Dirt and punished vice. He could be the town's hero.  I could't understand that phrase: HISSSSSSSSS! However, without understanding the phrase, I could enjoy reading this book. Actually, this word is written in the new word list at the 4 page of this book. I should have read before reading. The town got water was so beautiful in the last picture.

Last week, I had many thing to do because I did't try to reduce some tasks on Saturday and Sunday but this week is different. There are a few tasks in this week and I have already finished some tasks, so I have a lot of free time. Last Sunday, I joined to a flood control training. It was so good for raising my awareness of flood damage. I would like to work for my town if it happens. In this week, I want to read a lot of book written in English and study English hard for a TOEFL test.

We walked along the trail. It led up a hill. On the side of the hill we saw a little house with a garden in front. We could see corn growing. A man came out of the house. When he saw us, he began to run toward us. (p.58,59) In this story, three boys tried to live with them efforts to live with their daddy. They have grown up by many serious happenings especially Little Brother. When the brothers leave the town of Nicodemus, Little Brother decided to go to his home not by wagon but on foot. Finally, they could meet their father and get happy ending. I was impressed by this story. This is a heartwarming book.

I'm busy now but not as much as last week. I have many things to do; for example, preparing for some English class, memorization of a poem before next English class, studying Chinese for the exam, and so on. However, I think that many thing I have to do would get every week but I can get something good skills after finishing them. So I won't give up everything. The first thing I have to do is preparing for an English class! The deadline is tomorrow.

Tyler said, "When the boat came for us, we went under the water, so the boat missed us. The dolphins found us and brought us back to the beach. Dolphins are very smart." "I know," said Mr.Jenkins. "My friends thought you needed some help." (p.32) There were oil in the sea because a man and some men were putting oil in the sea to built his hotel and be rich. Five boys and girls tried to make them stop putting oil. In the end, thanks to dolphins' help, they could tell the police officer about the men and stop putting oil in the sea with Daniela's photo. Also, Faye and Tyler could get back to the beach with dolphins' help. I think that boys and girls have done good things for the sea, so they could get happy end. The phrase something you did may come back to you is really truth.

Hercules had achieved the impossible. He had fought the Hound of Hell. He returned from the Land of the dead. The gods smiled on him. (p.46) This book is about the myths and legends of Hercules the hero. There are many chapters. For example, Gods and Heroes, Hercules and the Giant Lion, Hercules and the Hydra, The Burping Bull and the Hungry Horses, and so on. Hercules is stronger than anything, so he could have fought the Hound of Hell and won, and he returned from the Land of the Dead. Due to this, with the Gods' smile, Hercules lived a long and happy life. After he die, he get an honoured place on Mount Olympus. In other words, Hercules became a god!

“Rapunzel, Rapunzel! Let down your hair.” (p.40) A man and his wife, who had long wished for a child, could have a child. His wife asked him vegetables  which were in the witch's garden. He tried to take them without saying nothing, but the witch found him. She got angry and made promise with him that she will get his daughter if she is born. The daughter grew up with the witch's help. One day, a prince found the daughter and tried to take out her. The witch got angry and made her kick out. The prince looked for and found her, then he    took her his kingdom and spent happy life. This story is remaked by the Walt Disney Animation Studios. I read this original story for the first time. There are many thing I didn't know. I learned that reading the original story could be a good place to know new thing.
