RANGO

The animals were happy. They jumped up and down in the beautiful water.
Beans looked into Rango's eyes.
'Thank you,' she said. 'You are our hero!'  (p.25)

 In this story, there are a lot of characters with animals for their motif. The hero is Rango who is a green chameleon. When he come to the town of dirt to find water, there didn't have water. This was because out of the water pipe came mud. However, a lot of Rango's thought and act, Rango could find a big water pipe which was closed by the Mayer. The Mayer wanted to have not the town of Dirt but a new city on the land. Rango went back to the town of Dirt and punished vice. He could be the town's hero.

 I could't understand that phrase: HISSSSSSSSS! However, without understanding the phrase, I could enjoy reading this book. Actually, this word is written in the new word list at the 4 page of this book. I should have read before reading. The town got water was so beautiful in the last picture.

Then he tries to stop them before it is too late. This book made me mixed feeling. Please read this book!

WAGON WHEELS

We walked along the trail. It led up a hill. On the side of the hill we saw a little house with a garden in front. We could see corn growing. A man came out of the house. When he saw us, he began to run toward us. (p.58,59) In this story, three boys tried to live with them efforts to live with their daddy. They have grown up by many serious happenings especially Little Brother. When the brothers leave the town of Nicodemus, Little Brother decided to go to his home not by wagon but on foot. Finally, they could meet their father and get happy ending. I was impressed by this story. This is a heartwarming book.

Hotel Casanova

" I want it more than anything in the world.     I read "Hotel Casanova" for the first time. The main characters of this story are Dino, Carla and Maria. The story of it is that , for Dino to follow his plan, he faces a bad problem by a relationship with Carla and one with Maria.  I want to make my schedule like Dino, but I don't want to be like Dino. After reading this book, I thought we have to carefully look at and think a situation which suddenly come to us. If it is so good, we should put for an action. If it is not, we have to avoid it. However, I think that we should choose the way it looks wrong to make ourselves stronger. If you get interested in this book, please read it.
